Right now my current short-term goal is to be able to mug well and finish mugging on time so that I can welcome my exams with a full embrace! I really hope to be able to finish studying by neXt neXt wed so that I can attend vera's wedding and run my half marathon at the same time!* anticipatiOn*
After today's test..I went to visit my favourite haunt again..the nice gift store @ NUH! hahaha....Somehow visiting that shop has some kindda therapeutic effect on me...yea..just looking at the colourful stationery and gifts somehow drains all the stress away.(I would always be really tempted to spend unecessary money over there, but now Im trying to refrain from doing so coz Im on my way to becoming a poor church mouse.) Usually, after visiting the gift shop, I would then head to 7-eleven which is just opposite and grab a bite! Now that's what I call the good life! heh heh...
Oh welL, It's really heartwarming to see that my dear friend Siying is able to appreciate the little things in life. Sometimes, when we lead lives that are filled with too many distractions and busy ourselves with the things that seem important at that particular moment in time, we will cease to notice the details that may be small but actually mean so much more than just rushing some dumb tutoriaL( just a personal example=P).
Friends, my wish for you today is that you will take some time off each day, even if it is just two seconds, to look around you and see if u can spot something that you don't usually notice. (For example, todaY i I just caught sight of a MONITOR LIZARD on my way back to hall, this reminded me of how wonderful God's creation is! Alternatively, it may be something your friend did for u! ) Make a mental impression on it. oR you could write it down somewhere. Over time..you will have an entire collection of the little things that you noticed in life and when you look back, u'll realise thAt you would have indeed lived life to the fullest!
