Christmas Christmas time is here...

Today at church, I learnt some new facts about the Christmas story. In the song " We three Kings of orient are...bla bla bla..."..It's not 'kings' but 'wise men' that visited Jesus. Maybe it was becasue they were always depicted with some turban-like, be-jewelled head dress and people somehow assumed that they were wearing crowns and hence called them 'kings'.

Second fact of the day: the familiar nativity scene where you see the three wise men visiting baby Jesus in the manger..well, that's incorrectly depicted too.Apparently, they visited Him at his house..and not the shabby barn with him lying in hay.Hah..I wonder how the manufacturers of those nativity models have been able to get away with such grossly inaccurate depictions over the years. The correct model should be..haha..a weak attempt at correcting the scene but well, you know what I mean:P But I guess those manufacturers probable thought that it'll look quite empty without the three wise men and hence added them thinking it would be the more the merrier;P Or maybe, they could have genuinely been ignorant or couldn't care less..wahhaha...

Weee...actually, rehearsals seem to be getting more fun! Hahaha...And I believe that God is going to do something BIG this Christmas..and the next and the next and the next! I really love the stage lighting! It would look so pretty when all the main lights are off la! Wahaha....

ANyways, I forsee my need for lotsa prayer for next week..it's going to be one hectic week with more rehearsals and DB training resuming and the christmas party....Lord grant me strength and wisdom!!! I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me! RaH!
