Lord, teach me to love.

Today as i set out for a morning jog, having not slept for the entire night ( all because of a taiwan drama), I was taken aback by what I saw...

Admist the storms on the inside, God gave me a beautiful sky to remind me of His faithfulness...




Amidst the feelings of entrapment, God sent a flock of flying white storks( or is it egrets?) flying above my head to remind me that He sets me free, purifies and cleanses me,and most of all...



that He loves me.

I picked up this flower (when it fell on the ground) once and was facinated by how the five petals were interwoven so perfectly together...

never did I expect to see its fruit today!

This tree has really unique flowers. The inflorescence hangs down real prettily looking like a garland. I stood in front of the tree for a few seconds and observed how the flowers fell down abruptly at intervals..
There were multiple stamens ( the male parts of the flower) and i think one pistil( the female part of the flower).. The petals seemed less attractive than the spray of stamens which is quite unusual since flowers usually attract their insect pollinators visually with their colourful petals rather than numerous stamens? I observed some wasps and bees flying among the 'jungle' of stamens trying to get to the nectar, must have been like looking for a pin in a haystack!:SThese are the hanging fruits of the tree! I think they are real pretty too!

Lord teach me how to love them by your love.
Lord teach me to know how to deal with my emotions according to your will.
Lord I know that there is hope because I know You love me.
You are in control of it all.
You make the sky orange, red, pink, purple, blue and grey as you wish.
You determine when the flowers bloom, when they fall, and when they fruit.
You guide the birds to the place of abundance and lead them back to their home.
You look after them even though they do not know you.
How much more would you care for me that i know you and acknowledge you as my Lord and Saviour?
How much more would you shelter me from the storm when You named me your co-heir in heaven?
Therefore,
Lord,
I give it all to You.
My emotions.
My family.
My God is in control!
