reflections on nature.

wiNdow view from my bEdro0m...

As I look out my window,
I stare in awe.
At the clouds moving across the sky,
Its movement defying the immobility
Of the tall,three-dimensional, rectangular concrete slabs,
that hold people of the present age.

Early in the morning I wake,
Aniticipating to see,
The warm sun admist the clear blue sky;
But no,
instead I'm greeted by another concrete slab,
Graced by only a tiny part of man-made nature-
The tiny tress,
planted atop the rooftop.

On the way to scHo0l...

As I make my way to the same old place,
As swift as possible,
fast-paced,
I think about the oil painting that I would see,
later at the field.

I walk hurriedly towards my usual seat,
I look up,
To catch the last glimpse of the night sky-
the stars that meekly shine,
and the moon!
Soon the sun will rise,
and there ends my dreams,
And begins my ever dreadful life.
How funny it seems,
That the sunrise always seems to bring,
More mourning than rejoicing.

Nature brings me back to myself.
Rejunvenates my entire being.
How I wish that I could spend
Each and every day living
In the midst of God's creation!
Living each day,
With my fellow comrade and confidant-
nature.
Now that will be one great life,
Don't you think?
