Hey hey hey! I've finally reached that final stage in my education pathway..it is truly by God's grace that I am able to make it this far. Seriously speaking, I didn't think that I would be able to make it to the uni in year 2 of my jc life! What's most amazing is that I could even carve my way into the science faculty when I dropped the most crucial subject to ensure that most science students should have-CHem! Haha...God made it in such a way that I just had to take a brdging module in chem in order to qualify for the life sciences major! HAha...Oh well...
Anyway, I finally got my hand onto the bidding system in NUS. The bidding process can seriously be quite stressful.I spent not less than two hours in front of the computer trying to decide which module to take to ensure that they do not clash.
:S Oh well, anyway its all done up now and very UNfortunately, I'm taking SIX modules!!! Actually I was thinking of dropping socio in tourism because I went through the exam paper of the previous year and found out that it required some big english powerhouse brain and a sizeable amount of literary skills to excel in that module. The essay qsns were so cheem(difficult)!
Life in the 'royal palace' is still livable. Though there's the constant pressure at the back of my mind to be more active in hall, I can't help but put my loyalty more in dragon boat or science fac then hall. Hmm...Ironically, the people in my hall seem more "artsy" than "sciencey" even though most people who live here are from the science faculty:X? They seem to have a more vibrant arts scene and place less emphasis on sports..ok, but then again they do try to be all-rounded by having inter-block games? I must say that I quite like the feeling of independence by my stay in hall. The only problem I have is that I STILL do not dare to utilize the washing machine yet. I seriously suspect that there are armies of bacteria lurking in the depths of the dingy machines! Oh well, call me a cleanliness freak! haha...I'd rather hand wash my clothes or bring them back home for washing :)
Lectures have also started. My first lect today(15Aug) only starts at 12pm!!!! It's going to be a long day for me coz of dragon boat training in the eveing. Well I'm looking forward to it though:) Hmm..hope that I'll be able to touch a person's life with God's love today!
