Sometimes i wonder why is it so essential that we need to make new friends. Is it out of our own selfish endeavours and the fact that it's the basic step to survival in a new environment or do people really make all their friends out of the pure sincerity of their hearts?
THere are friends whom you make and truly hope to be able to rely on them. You are convinced that they will last you for a lifetime. Yet ultimately, they disappoint you. Through certain actions and attitudes of theirs, you somehow feel like you have been used as a 'spare tyre'. These friends do not really treasure you and probably won't want to post a pic that the both of you took together on their blogs or friendster accounts. They just seem to forget about you when they are no longer in close contact with you.
And then there are those hi-bye friends whom you have a problem figuring out why they seem to be more friendly then people whom you've known for even longer times.
Then there are those who simply want to add you to their msn or friendster accts so that they will be able to boast about their large social network and boost their own egos at the same time.
Friends. Worldy friends. You can't seem to do without them. Yet sometimes you simply wished that you could actually do without them.
There is no such thing as a best friend in this world.
he length of the relationship doesn't count.
It's all in the heart.
I guess there's only one person that is everyone's best friend.
And that's none other than Jesus~
