Redemption and the unexpected treat.

Ok. I guess I have some redemption to do. I'm not that depressed anymore. The best medicine would be my trusty bible. Even though sometimes I may not know what to read. Somehow just reading something from it seems to comfort me. Oh well. It's DaddY's words afterall:)

There was an unexpected or rather, half-expected surprise at today's training. We started off with one minute of the 'citrus medicine ball' followed by a run to West Coast Park. We sat down in a circle to meditate...After the first round of meditation, I saw Amanda holding a plastic bag from macdonald's. I thought:"What! So naughty!" But anyway, we were asked to do another round of meditation. THis time, the last charge seemed unusually long..I was practising my breathing like some retarded person lah! Haiyo. THe extra time was actually for the cheeKy Vice CAp and Cap to lay the dinner table...One grilled chicken folDover and a cuppa ice milo!
(-_-')Oh well, it was a pleasant surprise indeed..just that I think I would have had an overdose of milo today..haha

Anyway, we had a time of sharing filled with laughter, tears and *gulP* farts. Somehow, I really could see how strongly the seniors felt about the sport. And I noticed that most of them wanted to achieve the Gold for their seniors. Some even said that DB was the first thing in their life that they truly felt passionate about.

It's a pity. I wonder. If only God was the DB of their life, just imagine the possibilities! If only they were as passionate about achieving his unique destiny for them, winning oikos for Him and making Him proud. If only God was the first and the greatest passion of their life. Imagine the great things that theY could do for His glory! I pray that one day, the members of the team will start rowing for Christ!

Competition is this weekend. I'm going to commit it to the Lord. not Going to worry unnecessarily. Just do my best. The rest is up to HiM. Praise be to God!
