The first part of the day was pretty bad for me. Why must it always rain in the afternoon? Especially not when I am wearing my new pair of Neckerman's! The entire sole got drenched!

Oh well, I went to tcc today to help out with the christmas decor. Ok. I officially declare that I am a lousy cutter. I cannot even use a pen knife and a RULER to cut a straight line on a piece of styrofoam board! In addition, I definitely do not have an affinity with double-sided tape. I just couldn't seem to have any control over it. But this is not the main issue of the day. The most regretable thing that I did today was..to make a total fool out of myself. Sorry mum and dad. I'm not sure if PMS was the cause of my totally rude and uncivilised behavior of sorts. Half the time I was shouting at the top of my voice. The next half I was frantically, or more accurately, angrily tearing at the double-sided tape as if it had offended me. I think the stupidest thing I did was to stand up on the chair and just hold the stupid decoration and do nothing. How silly. It's a total betrayal to the leadership skills that I was supposed to have picked up in the past. Haha. Talk about initiative. I was definitely the most prominent slacker over there.

ANyway..I guess I was really out of my mind today. Even Min was shocked at my 'insolence'..if I may quote from Akeelah and the Bee. I'm really impressed and inspired by min's committment to all she does and Grace's too! She is really one systematic and orderly girl! I think I'm really the oddball among the three of us. I guess I'm the only one who can tolerate untidiness and mess. Haha.

After helping out at the decor, me and min went to return the umbrella to the kind lady staying at 5A. SHe had lent min her umbrella after spotting her walking in the rain. I think she was God sent! Anyway, I thought it would be pretty easy returning the umbrella. But who knew that 5A actually had four units! Very Fortunately again, she looked out of her window and saw us. Haha. And we returned her unbrella along with a thank you card:) It was such a wonderful experience to be blessed by someone and then bless the person in return:)

God was gracious to me again as he somehow allowed IVy, the lady whom I was to borrow the lime green blouse from, to come to church earlier so that I didn't have to wait till 7 just to get it! hehe.

Anyway, I also decided to attned the 5pm adult service with MIn. Today Pastor Jeff talked about what had love got to do with us? Well..it has everything to do with us because if we believe in God, we should be able to love like him. God is love. We should learn how to express our love in a concrete and specific manner. He mentioned that sometimes, we may ind it easier to love the world than love an individual. Which is pretty true. SOmetimes, I find it easier to love my friends than those that are closest to me, which is my family.

Well..I guess I will have to start working in this area. Unconditional love. It's harder to achieve than it sounds. But I guess the first place to start should be from my family. Then perhaps, slowly, the people on my christmas shopping list will have an equal budget assigned to them. hehe.
