It's not about the singing
It's not about the dancing
It's not about how much people notice you
It's not about whether you look cool.

It's not about how well you pray,
It's not about the ability to speak in tongues ( i hope);
It's not about the number of Godly words that you can say,
It's not about who seems more spiritually mature in any way.

It's not about being jealous of other's talents
It's not about who makes the better performer.
It's not about the make up and the diva hair,
It's not about the opinions that one should care.

But its ALL about faith
It's all about believing
It's all about knowing that we are merely empty vessels
without Jesus in our being.
It's all about glorifying,
It's all about blessing,
It's all about sacrifice
It's all about love,
It's all about the passion of Christ.

During the course of the Easter production, certain thoughts have been bugging me. Yes indeed, I was glad to be involved in the production. Yes indeed, I was more than thrilled to be dancing. But I would like to confess that a certain part of me was guilty of entertaining thoughts of self -glorifying. But I really want to thank God for seeing me through the whole process as ultimately. Thank God that He has guided me through and equipped me with the correct mindset when I was performing. I also learnt that behind every production, was a strong group of prayer warriors constantly praying for the production to be a success, and by success we mean being able to usher in the presence of God which would touch the hearts of the audience. And it really wasn't about the individual's singing or dancing or acting, it was more so about how we were going to bless others with the talents that God has given to us which adds so much more meaning to whatever we do. I hope to be able to do this again! And again and again and again!

This year is special. That's because my birthday happens to fall on the day that Jesus rose from the dead and triumped over evil! I really want to thank God for everything that he has done. He was with me through my yesterdays, todays and tommorrows. I can't help but feel a tinge of excitement as to what he will be doing in my life in the tommorrows to come.

Thanks ma and pa too. They bought a cake for me this year.Haha. And she sang the birthday song the same way as she did the last year. With all the 'twinkle twinkle little star' actions to symbolise showers of blessings. That was cool ;P And there was a prayer this year too.I guess at the end of the day, no matter how your loved ones might sometimes seem to say or do things that might be hurtful to you, they still, do ,really, love you.
