:I've never ever seen them hold hands like this!:Well..I got these old photos from my visit to my ah yee's house. Ironically, she seems to possess more of my parents wedding photos than they themselves have! Haha. Oh well, anyway, I couldn't resist the urge to snap away with my camera phone and capture those classic memories! Haha..there was this really funny photograph of my dad taking holy communion with his mouth wide open toward the priest(it looks like a baby bird opening its mouth to the mother bird). But I did not post the picture for obvious reasons: honor your father and mother. Ookay.
It just occurred to me that I should be thankful.
I have to be thankful to God for looking after the health of my parents all these years.
I should thank God that He saw us through our ups and downs.
I thank God that ma and pa are christians.
I thank God that I was chosen by Him to be ma and pa's child.
I thank God for giving them strength, finances and wisdom to nurture me into a child of God.
I thank God that they never gave up on me.
I thank God that they are serving Him in their church.
Anyway, I hope that my parents will continue to grow in the Lord. I hope that my mum will learn how to relax more and spend time talking to us..I hope that my dad will learn to pursue God's heart more and be more fatherly and husbandly( I choose not to believe that it is too late) Lastly, I pray that my family will be able to live out a life that glorifies, honours and magnifies His grace and love. May we continue to serve you with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. In jesus name, Amen!
