WAR .

I do not want to go through life, just trudging through each day with a heart that does not carry hope or enthusiasm. I want to look forward to each day knowing that it's going to be another beautiful day living by God's grace and anointing!

God showed me His grace through various small, seemingly strange but tangible ways; and He seems to like to use the rain as a teaching tool.

Yesterday, I asked God to hold the rain before I reached home from my jog. The rain started right after i whipped out my keys to open the door.

Today, I told God that I really didn't feel like going for training. He sent the rain and as I was on the LRT, I received the sms " due to heavy rain, training for today is cancelled".

So here I am right now blogging.

Well, I wanted to spend some time with God. But apparently, I dozed off. Ahh!

I realize that there are people around me who are going through emotional struggles too. It's the feeling like you are locked in a prison of tears, disappointment and discouragement. I am free now though. Even though I may not feel it all the time, freedom, I believe, is to be claimed.

God has already given us the victory. God has already paid the price. Paid the with flesh and blood of His son. The battle has been won. The world has been defeated. Now, we battle only against the rules and principalities of this world. Right now, we battle with the Lord's armor and we stand firm.

" Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of TRUTH buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS in place, and with your feet fitted with the READINESS that comes from the gospel of PEACE.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of FAITH, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of SALVATION and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."

The last verse always seems difficult. Well, I guess if I read it in another way, even if I pray in a known language, I am still praying in the Spirit for it is the Spirit who gives me the words to pray? Ah. BUt it's still not enough.

EEEEYAHHHH!

I ain't sure of what I want either!

EEEEEEYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Who cares?

I am still a warrior for GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
