to THIS...

Just as I was walking leisurely (and somewhat reluctantly) towards my evo lab class at Blk S2..I came upon this tragic sighting - a small grey bird ( whom I later found out to be a juvenille starling), lying motionless on its back. Apparently, it seemed to have been blind to the clear glass pane outside the university hall and collided head on. *ouch* Silly bird? Or sadistic architechture?
Well anywas, I didn't really know what to do with the first bird that i saw. I simply used the empty biscuit packet that I had to roll the bird into the shade, away from the scorching heat of the afternoon sun. It's not nice to think about what a roasted starling would look like.
Then some 'goat' came along and spotted another dead bird which I had missed earlier. ( oH my, I wonder if I had trampled over it without noticing?!?)
Eventually, the two birds were sent to the 'bird people' in NUS and apparently, refrigerated. Well, frozen birds are probably better than charred ones. At least, they can be thawed back into recognition.
I suggest painting the entire glass red or orange since birds eyes are most sensitive to these two colours. Maybe orange would be good to be in line with the NUS theme. Yea. That might just be a good idea.
