Today is the start of my pursuit. A fresh pursuit. A renewed relationship that will last forever!
John1: 12-13 "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God- Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."
WOW. Knowing God makes me a child of the creator of this universe! I become special now. Mummy and daddy didn't decide my birth. God did.
John 2:25 "But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. He did not need man's testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man."
Ok. I got a little confused by this. Well when I checked out other versions of the same verse, I found out that the verse meant that Jesus knew that men were untrustworthy and hence did not want to entrust himself to them. Hmm, I guess it applies to us to. We shouldn't believe too much in others such that we lose believe in ourselves. I want to have Jesus confidence!
John 3:34 "For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the spirit without limit."
I think this is really powerful. Wow. A spirit without limit! I want to have such a spirit too! But right now have to really work on spending time feeding myself with the word first. No word, no life, weak spirit. Ganbatte Ikimasshio!!!!!

Amen! Let's not be consumed by the negative thoughts in our minds, but let's encourage ourselves with the good that God has done in the past, let's cling on to the promises that God has given us too. :) Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, we have the favour of God, we are the apples and oranges in God's eyes. (I want to be apple, you be the orange...Heehee...) So dear missy squirrelly, don't lose sight of the dreams that He has put in your heart. We all have God given potential that is not fulfilled yet!!!
